I'm feelin 22

Recap over the last few weeks:
After our gender reveal party we were so excited to finally be able to think about clothes, the nursery, and names more seriously. It has been so much fun getting to see everything become more of a reality!

20 weeks hit and I was so happy to be at a half way point but in disbelief that this pregnancy has flown by that fast! The following morning I went to my usual Dr. appt while Cody stayed home with a stomach bug that we thought was from our date the night before. I warned my Dr. that my husband was sick and she told me to give her a heads up if it hit me also. I worked that weekend, went to church Sunday feeling fine but exhausted after a night of work, went home and couldn't lay down to sleep.. I felt so. sick. But, i'm pregnant so what's new? My breakfast didn't stay with me long... then I continued to get sick about 12 more times over the next few hours. I gave my Dr a text that I did in fact catch the bug and we enjoyed a nice sleepover in the hospital that night to rehydrate me and get my electrolytes back on track. Stomach bugs are no fun but plus being pregnant, the.worst! Within the hour of being discharged from the hospital we went to our 20 week anatomy scan and got to see miss babygirls pretty face!! and confirmed we're still a girl ;)

I slept my life away and went back to the busiest week of work ever.. and... turned 21 weeks!

and now we're 22 weeks!

How far along? 22 weeks
size of baby: a spaghetti squash- she weighs 1 whole pound!! Approximately 8 inches long!
Total weight gain:  last check up was still at 5 pounds
Maternity clothes? Definitely! Anytime I get dressed I go through plenty of shirts because they just don’t look/fit right anymore.
Sleep:  sleeping very well… my schedule is just off. I blame that 90% on night shift though L when I am at home finally sleeping with my husband I usually wake up once to eat hah
Movement: all.the.time. and I can feel/see her move on the outside now which is so fun! My hand is constantly on my tummy, I don’t want to miss feeling a thing!
Belly button: it’s starting to become flush with my belly!
Best moment this week: really feeling/seeing her movements from the outside
Worst Moment this week: nothing comes to mind!
Miss Anything? nope!
Cravings: anything sweet.. haha! Cakes, cupcakes, candy, pie, oh my! I’m trying to resist these sweet cravings but it is tough.
Symptoms: heartburn hit full force at 20 weeks, and the occasional sciatic pain that wipes me out.
Looking forward to:  starting on our nursery and baby shower in a few weeks!

I still cannot believe how fast this is flying by! But we're so excited to meet this little one in a few months!
