19 weeks

How far along? 19 weeks
size of baby: a mango
Total weight gain:  not sure
Maternity clothes? From now on out, for sure. Except shirts, I can still wear normal shirts. I can just tell they don’t feel “right” on me anymore
Sleep:  sleeping good.. except the waking up at 3am for a few hours nonsense. But we can blame night shift for that. This morning I woke up at 3:15am and I HAD to get up for some wheat thins and green chile dip, yum!
Movement: oh yes! Its sporadic throughout the day but I have sessions of movement a few times. She is always busy from 4:30-7amish
Belly button: still in but I have noticed it looks different
Best moment this week: finding out we’re having a GIRL as of today!
Worst Moment this week: the snow!! As pretty as it is it put a damper on the weekend and getting to do stuff!
Miss Anything? nope!
Cravings: bring on anything spicy!!
Symptoms: nothing too different. I did find myself just uncomfortable this week especially after a big meal
Looking forward to:  getting to feel her move more and Cody feel her more often

it's a GIRL

We had the perfect gender reveal party tonight!!! The only downfall... the 6 inches of snow outside that kept some people from coming but we are so grateful for those who did make it and were there to celebrate with us!

Ashley and Kate (and their Mr's) were the only ones who knew what #babymcmurray was before the party so they arranged the actual reveal supplies, I helped with decor and food

mom and sister-in-law Stephanie putting on their guessing pins

after snacking, ashley led Cody and I into the guest room where they had set up the reveal for Cody and I

..then we went into the living room and popped a balloon for everyone else to see

 my side of the family

many many thanks for the wonderful friends of mine!!

our dear friend Hadden, codys best man, made us a "time out" chair with an hourglass inside!

18 weeks

3 week update gap? Ooops! Here we are at 18 weeks, already!?

How far along? 18 weeks
size of baby: a sweet potato
Total weight gain:  not too sure! I try to avoid the scale ;)
Maternity clothes? Finally got some stretchy scrub pants and a tshirt for work,  my belly was oh so constricted at work
Sleep:  sleeping great! Just waking up a few times to go to the bathroom ;)
Best moment this week: feeling the baby move!! … I was unsure if that’s what I was feeling due to a constant stomach ache, but now I’m positive it is! It’s the best feeling! Baby is so active any time I lay still-in church, in bed, in the car, etc. We also did a ultrasound today where they found out the gender, but I took the closed envelope with the answer to a friend and she’ll do the rest until our party next week! Ahh!
Worst Moment this week: traveling across texas and having a stomach ache for days to make up for it ;/
Miss Anything? nope!
Cravings: always love me some chips and queso! And I’m all about sour candy… no surprise there really
Symptoms: I have been feeling extreme right side back pain that radiates to my right top thigh.. I’m thinking it might be sciatic? But it’s a dull pain that wakes me up in the middle of the night or causes me to stop what I’m doing at work and take a walk. Whew wee! Frequent urination, nausea if I let myself get too hungry, and fatigue.. just the normal stuff ;) I did have a random session of getting sick this morning… in the car L luckily we had a blue eme-bag handy! haha
Looking forward to:  our gender reveal party next week! yay!

Last weekend, valentines weekend, we drove across Texas to Athens/Longview to see Cody's grandparents and his sister/brother in law and to celebrate our nephew Carter's 1st birthday! I was slightly bummed we wouldn't get a chance to celebrate valentines day, but sweet cody surprised me and booked a couples massage in Athens, Tx! Complete with white grape juice and chocolate covered strawberries, it was a great surprise!

Then we went to Longview and spent the night with Codys sister and bro-in-law.. we played games and loved on baby Carter!

..and today we got to see baby McMurray! He/she gave us a big wave and was moving its little legs and arms all over the place! Always such a relief for this momma to be to see this perfect creation active and healthy! We decided to have them write down the gender and gave it to a friend, so we'll find out the results next weekend, woo whoo!
